TIBCO Ajax Message Service™ software provides a mature and scalable approach to pushing or streaming real-time information to browsers and other applications over HTTP networks. Since there are no web browser plug-ins, ActiveX controls, or applets required, the solution is very friendly to browsers, proxies, and firewalls.

You can now build real-time applications with Ajax technologies such as TIBCO General Interface™, and even deploy other clients such as Java, .NET, and Flash applications over the web since you can now stream data to them in an HTTP firewall-friendly way.

to provide low latency streaming data to connected users.

Key Features

  • True HTTP streaming: Data is sent from the server to the client in an asynchronous fashion without requiring redundant, higher latency polling from the client.
  • Adaptive streaming and congestion control: Ajax Message Service detects congestion on the internet and connected web clients, heuristically slowing down or suspending data until the connection is restored. When streaming is blocked by the network infrastructure, the server gracefully degrades that user's connection to a smart polling model.
  • Frequency and bandwidth control: Enables organizations to constrain the message volume per client, or the number of updates per data subscription. Provide different qualities of service to different users or applications by configuring a maximum bandwidth for a streaming channel or maximum updates per second per subscribed item. Ajax Message Service will filter the data in such a way as to ensure that volume and update frequencies always remain below set thresholds.
  • TIBCO PageBus™: Includes full version of TIBCO PageBus with integration examples including TIBCO Enterprise Message Service™ and TIBCO General Interface.
